Mooncake Festival

ok, i'm not gonna tell you about the history behind it. Wanna know? just google it, it has far more precise information than i can provide you.

For today, i woke up in the afternoon and heard some ppl talking outside, which were my brother and his friends. I continue to sleep after that to wake up again in the late afternoon to eat chipsmore as breakfast/lunch and tea time. Continue watching Underworld, the night before i watched Underworld 1 from dunno what time to 6am or 5? So, this evening, it was Underworld 2. Suddenly, i got a phone call from my mum. Then, only i remembered today is the 15th.... and there's a dinner in CRC tonight. So, continue watching it until 7.20 and went to CRC by bike since my parents gonna come back much later, their gang are there, so you know la, can hang out longer.

Upon reaching there, met up with my mum and went to our table. The table was kind of empty, only 3 aunties, 1 uncle who always snap pics and me. Since that uncle always snap pics, he wasn't around the table most of the time leaving only 1 penyapu there to sweep the food. How would i be capable of pulling it off when the dishes were meant for 10 ppl and there were more than 5 dishes served. Some more i ate chipsmore like mad before i came, haha.

At there, i saw Mr.Teh, my school accounts teacher and saw Mr.Ong as well, Ah Sun, not Teik Nam. Sitting there looking around for a little while, the entertainers were ready and started their performnace. They were.. Philiphinos, 2 of them, females and they actually have good voices. Very good entertainers i believe because they were capable of singing many types of songs, back from the 60s to 20s? and they sang mandarin, English and Malay songs, multilingual. Another criteria which made them good performers were that they were actually enjoying themselves on the stage and that's neat.

After a while, big shots started coming into the hall, the likes of Nga Kor Ming, OBJ and some other guys. So, the entertainment were put to a halt and speeches were given by Dr.Tan (CRC president) and those 2 and 1 more guy. The best speech was from Nga Kor Ming as he did the job to explain the history of the Mooncake Festival, and was gathering support indirectly. He did it quite well by starting to explain about China's progress, a country which is a very poor in the past being a superpower in the current. He said it was because of the will to change (which is DAP's motto) which is true and went into Malaysia and said we should also change. Well, it was nice because he put an introduction, which is the mooncake story and move on about China because mooncake originate from China and inserting the party's motto into his speech by telling to the hall member, which was indirectly to gain support. The others were not too shabby, i mean the speeches but the worst was the guy who i dunno his name. His speech was after Nga Kor Ming's, and he spoke about China again. It seems like he was stealing idea to me plus it seems to be an impromptu speech. Since he talked about China again, most probably it is a idea stealing case.

By then, i was already quite full, just waiting for the dessert... waiting... waiting and waiting..... After that, the OBJ and his wife were invited to sing 2 mandarin songs. Woots, the Malay couple can sing mandarin songs, not bad at all. Some more can sing the whole song, compared to me who can only sing a few lines out of every song sang by them, hahaha. Sia sui betul. The best example would be the song, Tian Mi Mi. For this song, they sang it fully but i only know how to sing the line tian mi mi throughout the whole song, lol. After all that, lights were put out slowly for the dancing session were about to start slowly. Soon enough, it was the dancing session, VIPs went home and i was still waiting for the dessert. Haha, i think i know why the VIPs went home. It was probably because those aunties started dancing. My goodness, all so expert in showing off their fats. They should be smart a bit la, at least cover those fats. This 1, showing it off as if the fats are their pride, hahahahaha. Pity their dancing partners. Nvm la, at least they know how to dance la, i only know how to jump, lol. Then, I saw the VIP tables were closed and i thought "oh shit, dun tell me no dessert" but I was delighted when i saw dessert served to the neighbouring table. A few minutes passed and it finally came. After eating it, I went home. Fuh, how long i waited for it (i mean the dessert). To make it a more solid reason for me to go home, it was because of the unbearable sight of those aunties (like UV rays shining on the vampires), haha. Oh yeah, there were mooncakes but i didn't take even 1, haha. The mooncakes i sapued a few days ago were better i believe, so wouldn't wanna destroy the tasty impression of mooncakes to me. Surprisingly.... super suprisingsly, it rained tonight. It was supposed to be a full mooooooonnnn. Damn... but i predicted the rain correctly. When waiting for the traffic light to turn green, dark clouds were rolling in the sky. Shhh... make sure those aunties dunno i talked so badly about them, hahaha, later all commit suicide ah cuz i say them fat. (beh kuai wa pun la, ee lang chin chia chin chia pui, kong ee lang san, tan chek lang kong wa bo taste, cho sia pai ka ki nia, so, kong ee lang pui tiok shi teh chun liao eh, chin eh, bo pien lu eh, si beh pui ah, kam bak chiu pun lu eh bak chiu eh tiok cataract ah, hahahaha) << hokkien. ai seh, my hokkien not bad also ah, haha.

Came home to watch the remaining part of Underworld 2. Next, I'll be looking forward to a football match, Manchester United vs Sunderland.
