Slight Update

Well, i guess this blog deserves more variety of updates. So, here's 1. For this holiday (a super long 1 till i'm dead bored especially when so many friends left for college 1 by 1), it was boring, entertaining at times and also slightly educational.

There were 2 events which highlighted the few days in which these events occured. The 1st 1 was not too long ago. It was the TMGS Pesta Ria. Frankly, it was boring but it serves it's name with the Ria-ness. Not to say i'm very ria about it, in fact it was a boring 1 like how other pesta ria-s are. The name fits mainly because it was really ria, noises made by the students. A few days back, i was given RM40 worth of coupons and that really surprised me. My father just gave it to me out of nowhere. So, i went there with Joseph and Ken Lin (the number speaks for itself, everyone is flying everywhere). We finished the tour in less than 10 minutes. It was a good thing for me that the food there were expensive. So, i did spend every single ringgit, taking back loads of food back home. Yup, it was a boring yet ria event.

The next event is much more enlightening considering the fact that it was done in a hospital's seminar room. It was a joint debate training as usual but it's special because Swee Kheng personally trained the 2 teams. We, as the SGI trainers went there too to observe and advise the team if they lack some stuffs. The environment was conducive and our mentor here, is really great in coaching debate teams. If we compare ourselves to him, obviously we're out of his league in every aspect, as expected from the world champion debater, he lives up to his name, lol. It was fun considering how jokes can be made from debates especially from Vignes (a natural in being humorous even when he's serious or trying hard to be, lol). Besides, it's educational in the sense that not only are they being taught of the ways of debate, in fact we learned a lot too especially me (among the trainers la cuz in the age of debate, i am the youngest after all, haha). This time, Swee Kheng really taught a lot compared to last year. So, i do envy them of having such trainings and i told KL "imagine we had this training last year". Personally, i believe we would have won the IIU tournament if we did undergo such trainings. Even by maintaining the form, probably we could have been the best team there but that's all the past, damn. Therefore, those guys better appreciate those vigorous yet beneficial trainings from him.

Out of the 2 trainings, 1 was a overnight training whereby they train from 6pm to 6am. That really suits me well cuz i'm a night person or an early morning person. During their prep time, we chatted with Swee Kheng. Obviously I know he was superior to us in knowledge but the gap seems wider and broader as the conversation goes on, lol. It doesn't really matter cuz in this way, I'm also learning some stuffs from him. In fact, I prefer listening to ppl to gain knowledge than reading unless the person really sucks too much in explaining (like some teachers, lol). Speaking about food, for this case, I pity Swee Kheng. Pizzas were delivered to the hospital and we were asked to have the starting bites while he continue explaining. Then, he had a slice of pizza and they went on for the next motion preparing. At the same time, someone called him for some business which i dunno what it was. At that moment, Boo and Siu Chen swept all the food like a gust of wind~. Fuh, before that SC was very decent, not even taking up any offer of food from Swee Kheng, keep waving her hand as a sign of no. Despite the no-es, when he went out, she went on a rampage for food, such gluttony, omg..... (i'm exaggerating it but it's true that she started eating a lot after that, haha). To those who know her, pls dun tell her i said that, hahaha. When Swee Kheng came back for some refreshments, it was no longer visible nor reachable. He was like oh my god and we're grinning there with a few laughters, haha. At 10pm+ or so, ST and SC went home for the next day, they have interview.

So, for supper, we went to McD. Annie (Swee Kheng's colleague, also helping in the training) asked us, the boys to order Nuggets for her and we, the boys ordered after the girls. So, we kinda forgot and ordered our portions 1st. When, the fries was brought to the table, she asked Darmesh for the Nuggets and he told us he was blasted there in the way "Sadly, i asked the BOYS to make the order", lol. Then, we quickly ordered the Nuggets and gave it to her. Then, she was asking for the sauce (it was supposed to come together with the nuggets, bbq sauce or sort of it) and again, we quickly asked for the sauce and gave it to her and Boo was saying women are so fussy and i totally agree with that, hahahaha, not all la, some... perhaps... most of them, lol. It's exactly like what everyone will be thinking, yup, she is the queen. Nevertheless, she's not  to be underestimated, she's also a pretty smart lady (i dunno her age la, so put lady better, lol). Not pretty smart i guess, it's really smart. She has strong opinions over many motions discussed and she seeks flaw very well in their cases. After a motivational talk given by SK (not Sand King nor Skeleton King, it's Swee Kheng but not my batch's Swee Kheng, totally incomparable, lol), we went back to the hospital. The final debate was done and we were supposed to sleep at 2 something but we talked until about 3 something and they slept. I was still awake playing Sudoku, lol. Play until 6am and woke everyone up to go home. The night was definitely spent well.

That's all for now~
