Appreciation Dinner

this dinner was done to thank our trainers and teachers for helping us out in our debate training and tournament for IIU 1. It was basically them who had helped us going through the thick and thin of every single part of the tournament and not to forget, the convent girls (they were helpful in a sense that they provided us a better fight compared to SGI team B, an undeniable fact, so pls dont start "wah, say we weak la now" that kind.. haha). It was held in Legend Inn mainly because it is halal (there's a Malay debater in the Convent team) and the trainers LOVE kangkung, lol. The trainers are Chan Leong, Lavin, Foo Mun and Sophia but Foo Mun couldnt make it because he was chosen for the JPA scholarship to France (good future, dude, wish you every success in it). So, let's go to the event.

It was planned to start at 7pm. I got there by 7pm and we(stephenas, ken lin and me) were supposed to be there by 6.45pm to open up the booking. When i reach there, i parked my bike in front of Institut Taiping cuz no other place got the yellow colour box thingy. After park d, walk there, see see, saw 1 girl only, so was like.. better dun go in 1st and i started finding for a better parking since it's quite far.. and out of my sight totally and far, super far. So, i found 1... and Chan Leong came, then he suddenly walk follow me also, starting starting i thought he want to go find mr.boo for his tuition and so on but then, he followed me and sat on my bike for that less than 1 minute period to my next parking point, lol. Then, we went in and greeted that girl and talk a little and sat there. After for about 10 minutes or more, comes Stephenas, Sophia and Lavin, all 3 Guest of Honour have arrived. Then, we all went to the table. Got 2 tables since there are around 17 of us, so it's 10 per table or so... then, we waited a while 1st. 1 special thing at this part was after the waiter filled Stephenas's glass with water, he drank the whole thing one shot, while we drink slowly slowly. Then, we continue chat chat chat until more ppl came. When Ken Lin came, he sat on the next table because the table we were sitting full d.

Because he was like so lonely, we went to him which is me, stephenas, sophia and siu chen. Then, some jokes were made la. haha, as usual, it seems easy to laugh when see Ken Lin's face, dunno why though. Then, more and more ppl came and we continue talking. Suddenly the food came.. and that time was about 8.30+.. fuh, after 1 hour plus.. Malaysian timing la... very cun 1.. lol, wedding in KL would be worse, i've attended 1 before, my cousin's 1, sat there for more than 2 hours only the thing start (can go eat 1 meal of McValue Meal before anything start also and still can sapu food on the dinner table after that, haha). The food was... seated kangkung (which is 1 of the main reason why we came here also), curry chicken, inchi kabin (chicken too), tom yam soup (sophia's favourite, according to herself, keep saying "ehhh.. i like eh, wahh..", the expression of like those who really really like the food), dunno what fish, and that's all i think, lol. Since i didnt get the rice yet, i help out a little by pouring the tom yam soup for everyone and forgot about myself, haha.. until half way eating only remember, lol. My table.. they damn ganas man. Straight sapu the kangkung until left 1/10 of the kangkung left, haha. Then, i continue sweeping the inchi kabin, it's chicken after all, haha. Suddenly, i saw something, the television! It was a match between MU and M'Boro. fuh... and I saw! Ryan Giggs score, then I was like "woo!", luckily not that loud la, if not everyone will look at me d, then tell Lavin and he was also happy about that, haha.

Then, we continue eat eat eat, until everything was cleaned up by our mouth.. oh ya, got prawns also, forgot. Then, we eat eat eat again and everything was finished. So, we continue talk and talk and I was multi tasking, watching football and talking with them and listen to them talking, haha. Then, got 1 part where, dunno who challenge S.Chen to eat the prawn with its shell because Boo said he eat before that way, with shell also eat only. Then, she also take up the challenge and ended up like below ok ok. Then, i some more "kar liu" by saying "where can drink water to help 1?", lol (that time she was still ok la, so i didnt know, after know d, feel quite bad, hahaha). Then, after talk a lot d till MU game also finish d with a winning of 2-0 (second goal was quite nice also from Park Ji Sung). Then, May Khei came and snap photos here and there with all of us as memories i guess. After snap d, she went home.. and some other girls too went home, some guys too. Then, we were like deciding where to go since the night was still young, on 10pm like that and all decided to go to Lake Garden. So, we went and Chan Leong led us to Sport Lite and change of plan, to Tesco. So, we went and as a motor rider, I feel car was very slow, haha. When reach Tesco d, we went to buy to walk around and bought nothing. After that, we went to Starbucks and waited for everyone to go home from there. That was the 1st time Ken Lin got teased by Siu Chen, haha. Then, everyone went home. I also go home... and continue the night with some stuffs about scouts 1, so didnt get proper sleep for 2 days in a row till this morning, reach home at 8 plus, had a good bath and slept till afternoon and i'm fresh, straight study sejarah 2 chapters and got sleepy back, haha. That's all la, getting bored of typing d. Bye!
