today, i did a horrible mistake, which was telling my friends tonight's game is the Carling's Cup finals between MU and Aston Villa.
1st scene (friend's house, about 5 ppl): Later MU la against Aston Villa, Carling Cup finals.
Friends (all also dunno): oh....
2nd scene (McDonald): (same lines)
Joseph (a more aware fan): I thought against AC Milan
Me (very confident): No la, Aston Villa la tonight.
Joseph (thinking very hard): Hmm, ya ya ya, Aston Villa tonight.
In conclusion, it was damn lame that i actually mixed up the games, lol, and i even convinced Joseph tonight is against Aston Villa, hahahaha. When reach home, check what time the match start, then i was like "wtf, MU against AC Milan......." "so, i've been giving wrong info so confidently to my friends all these while, shit d la....". Totally screwed up, /e5 case. Now to think about it, it's correct la AC Milan (if i am confused between the 2 clubs) cuz a few days ago, Beckham's publicity quite high. So, i should've known it was AC Milan..... Actually i dun care you know if i get the matches wrong but so confidently telling everyone about the wrong thing makes me feel bad but it's too late la, haha, let them watch to be surprised, that time oni apologize for the wrong info la (if they ask), lol.
alright, prediction 3-0 or 3-1 MU win

the game's over, MU won 3-2, so my prediction was quite close (yay!) but i didn't like the match in the last 13 minutes including injury time. Milan was so damn close to equalize and obviously we don't want that to happen at all and i was very anxious waiting for the final whistle. I was pretty delighted when the final whistle was blown sealing a 1 goal difference aggregate, it's very important since we have a 2nd leg. Milan did better, or you can say a lot much better than expected after their rather weak performances in their domestic league. Ronaldinho was suddenly playing so well in the 1st half which brought to the 1st goal and some pressure. In the 36th minute, Scholes equalized!! His goal was bizarre and very buta, totally pure luck. 1st luck, it hit his left leg after his right leg missed. 2nd luck, the ball barely passed through between the defender's leg. 3rd luck, it hit the goal post and deflected into the goal. See, there's a lot of luck in it. 1st half, AC Milan was definitely the better team although the possession was more to MU cuz Nani wasn't in form, his dribbling was good but his crosses were bad. 2nd half, i was hoping for Valencia to enter unless Nani can do better. 2nd half started and Nani was still bad in his crossing, Ferguson made the brilliant choice replacing him with Valencia. Valencia's 1st cross was what brought MU to their 2nd goal, cool huh. Out of nowhere, Fletcher played exceptionally well, he was chasing for the ball everywhere and finally made a cross which Rooney headed into the net, another nice yet simple goal.
Another change of flow happened whereby after Seedorf was placed in the pitch, he scored a goal which fired up the spirit of his team but it was quite late, about the 80+ minute. Although quite late, their attacks were sharpened deeply and they nearly equalized. That scared the hell out of me, fearing that they might actually pull it off. Fortunately enough, MU wasted a lot of time which brought them to their victory, haha. Anyway, there were 2 yellow cards which i did not understand, Rooney's and Ronaldinho's cuz they were showing replay. The next thing i know was them being booked and Carrick got a red card which he shouldn't get, i believe cuz it was Evra's foul. The quality of the game was above average cuz MU wasn't at their best (quality could have been better), i mean the defense but they did quite well though. MU was careless especially in the 1st half, it's very bad... cuz AC Milan was very good in taking advantage of it unlike the other barclays premier league teams, different style of playing, lol.
