this outing is more to like a debaters' outing to celebrate 1 of their belated birthday. We decided to have it at McD and waiting for the celebrated one for 10 minutes or more. It was fine though cuz Weili actually entertained us with the leaflets. After a while, the birthday kid came and we bought food. Eat and chat. Then, we went to search for movie to watch and decided to watch Tsunami, the korean movie (forgotten the full title). One of them went back while we were playing Photo Hunt to kill some time. Before that, went to Tesco to buy cake and became bodyguards for that time, or perhaps most of the time, haha.
When we lost in Photo Hunt, it was about time. We gathered and went into the cinema, talked some crap and the movie started. The show was nice to average i would say. I like the way they combine sad scenes and funny scenes together (not really together, more to one after another). There was one joker who's really really stupid yet he was super damn lucky when the tsunami hit the land and the bridge. He was at the bridge. After the tsunami hit the bridge, he was still alive and started running cuz there was this ship lying on the bridge and some of the stuffs fell from it. While he was running, he escaped death more than 5 times, which at least 3 of them were large containers falling from the ship. Instead of hitting him, it hit other ppl and a really fast moving rope missed him. After some scenes, it was back to him again. This time he was trying to smoke but he lit up his lighter and the flame was kinda big and he threw it away. The lighter fell onto a place which was unstable surrounded by crude oil. He saw it, he stood up and started running like one stupid guy (in fact, he is stupid in the movie). The lighter fell onto the oil and flame started bursting out and it nearly engulfed him thrice, nearly. Due to the explosion, the ship fell into the sea as that part of the bridge collapsed.
After a few scenes again, it was back to his comedy show. He was still alive in the water and got pulled up by another guy above the large container. An aunty pushed him back into the water cuz she asked him to save a little boy when the stupid guy said he only know how to swim dog style. He survived the whole movie although his mother died. Perhaps it was a blessing to his career as after the tsunami, he was given a distinguished award for saving about 9 ppl's lives and he was wearing formal outfit after that. Before that, he was a drop out in the society who don't even own a pair of shoes, or even just a shoe.
Another funny story in the story would be a crazy girl (like miss. ong jin jin, hahaha) who was saved by a guy in the sea bit his saviour's lips when he was giving her CPR. Before that, while they were struggling in the sea, the guy headed her and elbowed her cuz she panicked and was pulling him down into the sea with her. Before that was also another funny part where that saviour threw a float at her but ended up a headshot, so she was knocked out and ended up being below the water surface. That guy was really pitiful as he was totally bullied by this girl which they ended up having their own romance story. She proved her craziness another time by biting his lips again after he hang out with her at a market i believe. In the market, they were talking about her studies which she said she was good in acting. She straight acted as if she was being dumped by him after that he made her pregnant (which was obviously just acting) but it got the crowd's attention and the crowd believed her. So, he was framed yet again being a bad guy. Despite all that, he was really heroic by sacrificing himself to save another guy after saving her from the tsunami. He died for duty honourably, truly respectable (i believe these days none d la these kind of ppl, haha). In this movie, he was the really innocent 1 kept being disturbed and bullied by that girl which ended up loving him.
There were some sad parts too. As expected from Korean shows, even their dramas all are crying 1. I predicted correctly as the movie started with crying and at the near end, ended up with crying too. In between, of cuz there were crying as well. Those girls who haven't watch the movie and are touched easily, better prepare 5 boxes of tissue papers to weep your tears, haha. Still it's not that terribly sad to make us cry. Imagine the whole cinema started crying after the sad part, that would be funny, haha. Also, i was actually hoping for more ppl to die cuz there were like a few only died. Only about 4 out of the tens main actors died, sad case la, so little. Seriously, i respect that stupid guy who escaped death so many times. Damn... Lady Luck was really with him on that day. So, this part has a moral... Be stupid and you'll be lucky. This was proven more true as 1 of the main actor who was an expert about tsunami died (he's smart) cuz he wanted to save his wife and daughter. Their daughter survived, they died, at least there was a woman kind enough to take care of her after that.
There was another story in the movie which... there is nothing much to say, more like a tough life for the girl and the guy was the 1 who caused the death of the girl's father. They liked each other and in the middle of the story, the girl learned the truth and did not want to accept his proposal after that. In the end, they survived and their relationship blossom again. The guy was lucky as an old man which he hated saved him but he died after that. So, there's another moral... Don't save ppl as you'll be accepted by God too fast (means good ppl will always die earlier, so be bad, mean and evil~~~ maybe fierce is accepted, haha). After the movie, everyone went home.
I sacrifice something for this outing, Manchester United's game................................ I knew about the game and i knew the timing clashed but since it was already set, dun feel like destroying the outing just because i wanted to watch the game. At least Manchester United won 4-3 and that's good but i couldn't see their performance and that's bad, hopefully i can see it next week, better can man, if not, i'm gonna destroy something d, haha. Nvm nvm, at least everyone had an enjoyable night. Looks like Manchester City has really stepped a gear up this season with Alex Ferguson prasing them, having a stable team and able to strike 3 goals into Manchester United's net, not bad, not bad at all. Still, the most important thing is MU won, wahahahahahahaha!
oh ya, during our outing, we saw Darren Boo (my junior), tahu tahu la, he was together with a girl hanging out at Sentral, only 2 of them walking here and there and he was touching her here and there, hahahaha. More like poking la, not the pervert type of touching. We suspect la, they 2 are in a relationship, lol. We asked him at 1 part and he denied saying just teman her only but looks like more than that, haha.
