Hugs and Kisses

hmm, that day i chatted with a friend and only know that XOXO is hugs and kisses...
a few questions came into my mind in that split of second... and it was unexplainable, haha
if i would ask who's the creator of this "term", probably no one could answer that too. These are the questions i thought of, i think some were answered but i forgot d, haha.

1. Why is it XOXO? Why not ZGZG or YLYL or UAUA? I mean like OMG represents oh my gosh or oh my god, which is the initial letter of every word, so shouldn't it be HK or HAK?

2. X represents hug and O represents kiss?

3. If one were only to use XO, would it be hug and kiss? I don't think anyone will use XO anyway, ppl might think it's the XO Phua Chu Kang used to drink 1.

4. If question 3 is a yes, then for 5 times, we should write XOXOXOXOXO? or 10 times, it'll be XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO?

If i'm not wrong, this term was used for a long long time ago, seen it last year or last 2 years ago, lol. If i were to be the creator, i'll put it as probably QWQW since it's near to the caps lock and Q and W is side by side, easier for typing, haha.

Starting i thought XO was a smiley, cuz there's a smiley XD (laughing with an X on the face). So, i thought it was a NO!!! expression (an X on the face with the mouth being an O shape cuz when ppl say no, their mouth becomes round rite?). Maybe i'll use it as a NO!! expression to confuse my friends, wahahahaha. Let them get shocked a while la, they might think "wtf, Chen Zhun giving me hugs and kisses?!!" with their face eyes going @.@
