Community Shield

It was a match between Manchester United and Chelsea last night. Right on time, went to watch and at the end of the game, Manchester United lost due to penalty shoot out. As expected la MU will lose. They have the tendency to lose the starting games but yesterday, probably Manchester United deserved the win slightly more or slightly less, not very sure about it.

MU should've won! why?
- noob referee
he took about 2 secs to decide on the whistle when Ballack fell after Evra took possession of the ball, 2 secs.. that's damn long for a decision. Then, Evra fell the same way Ballack fell and the whistle wasn't blown at all. After that, Chelsea went on to score the 2nd goal after it was taken from him. Due to his lousy decision which costs the conceded goal, Alex Ferguson went to the field all the way and shouted at him (after the match la of cuz, lol).
- cheap play by 1 of the Chelsea's defender, injuring Nani until he was substituted.
- Great play in the 1st half, with Nani's great pace.
- Evra was suffering from psychological tension due to the Chelsea fan's booing him, couldn't perform at his best after that.

MU don't deserve to win! why?
- poor play in the 2nd half, like shit only
- Ben Foster wasn't that consistent although he saved some really good balls
- Defense line wasn't that good, probably cuz Vidic wasn't around
- Evra should've played better even got booed, not really a mark of an international player if can't even handle such pressure.
- Chelsea did a very great job in the 2nd half.
- Even if the community shield had an extra time, my bet was on Chelsea since they were more consistent in the 2nd half.
- poor penalty by Manchester United, especially Evra's, no power at all.
- Wayne Rooney's goal could possibly be an offside which was undetected by the sideliners.

So, basically, if there was a whistle after Evra fell, the score would've been 2-1 which would've brought the victory to MU's side. Despite that, Chelsea deserved it due to their better performance in the 2nd half. Probably because Manchester United didn't take it seriously as well, they were using youths in their game rather than the regulars. Regulars like Giggs and another 3 players only entered at about 70+ minutes.
In this game, I would say Nani was MU's best player. His shot from more than 20 yards away (if not mistaken) was so quick and powerful plus his pace and speed throughout the whole game increased the chance of scoring for MU. Park Ji Sung still haven't found his finishing touch, he had about 3 chances, all wasted. The young Red Devils have improved, capable of handling international players. 2nd half, i dunno what happened to MU, they played like....angels

Tomorrow the SS plan will be initiated again, means Skip School. Still haven't decide whether want to skip the morning part or go for the whole thing. Maybe i'll skip until after recess la. See how many confirm not going school 1st. And~~~~ tomorrow someone's birthday man.. but.... who cares? LOL
