Investiture Night 2009

ok, here's the event. let's talk about before everything started, on 17th, after school, we hurried in preparing for the opening ceremony, wanted to make it grand and so on, so what happened was that we decided to make 2 hourglasses, and this would be in fact the 1st time we completed 1 fully completed hourglass, let's make it 2, lol. we used up probably about 6 hours to complete 2, an average of 3 hours for 1 hourglass. It was simply tiring that day, which is a friday, after school, straight go for the rehearsal for the event and straight build these hourglasses. at night, we went for convent's pesta ria, it was super hot there... i mean super hot, the temperature, like entering a sauna, even our school is better in a sense that even when it is crowded and there's no fan, i won't sweat but this 1.. got fans and crowded, still made me sweat like hell, in fact, walking around the school made us sweat... weird school huh.. maybe the Sisters all angry we enter their school, lol.

then, since it was super hot and a little boring, we went to Taiping Sentral and watched Mall Cop by Adam Sandler. It was a quite funny show especially some parts, but not fully comedy. Then, went home, super hectic day, do the towers until 6pm, went home by 6.20, prepare myself until 6.40 and could see Micheal was already outside my house preparing to fetch me, lol. Rush like mad only, haha. Anyway, would take the opportunity to thank Mei Ching and Vivian Chua for supplying 10 seats for us, for the concert 1, although watched only 30 minutes, lol.

Then, the following day, we went to school early morning and completed the hourglass fully. then, decoration everything prepare and so on. Then, at 5, we gathered and had a final rehearsal for some stuffs. At 6.30 everyone prepare d, ready and stand outside and so on, but sadly.. sadly.. i wasn't the 1 standing on the tower to blow bugle, mainly because i was the troop leader, need to do the flag thing, not in the pic nor the limelight, haih, haha, anyway, i became the photographer for that moment, quite nice, snapping everything and just walk here and there, no need to salute also, lol. next was the flagging of the troop where we put in the flags into the shoe rack, it looks more like a "shoe shelf" though. then, we started off talks given by mr.ng and mr.goh, our vip, then, sang a little songs and moved on with the sketch of the form 4, entertaining but not their normal standard, less funny. anyway, let's make it short, the sketch after that was much funnier and the appointment of APL, PL and JTL was ok with their formations and so on. Then, the food was also nice, until i swept 2 boxes of food, haha. the drink was also refreshing but finished up by the juniors, bloody hell, until we only get to drink once. we were a little screwed up during the appointment of form 4 scouts, forgot their patrol badges. Then, we appointed APL, PL and TL for the rover scouts too, remaja.. it was cool that TL no need formation, so made my job simpler and better, haha.

At the end, we cleared up everything and 1 part was super funny which is when ken lin wanted to put back the drama play set back to it's original position, he lost his balance and you could see his unstably moving behind, then to the right and left, lol. Damn funny, you wont regret seeing that moment, hahahaha (should've recorded that, lol). After everything was cleared, we had a post-mortem and went to crc to have a drink with a few of my friends, timothy was angered with a kid in crc, haha, kept bugging him until he got pissed off, lol. then, we went home. that's all.
anyway, it was fun, but hectic, yet great opening but not that organized but still nice =)
