Interlude

The question on the utilization of time efficiency has been running through my head recently.
It does occur on me weekly but this month as a whole, it's a little more unforgiving as exam is approaching with many other things to handle.
Last month, it was more effortless as there were only 2 programming assignments in which in 1 of it, my limit was tested badly mainly because I insisted on completing it myself. This month, I have 3 programs and a few reports which demand a tremendous amount of time to comprehend them.
Compared to the likeliness to complete this and a few other commitments that I have, the tendency to forget some of them is higher.
The solution to this is simple which is to be more systematic but there's also a limit to this solution because when being systematic isn't enough, it's insinuating that you need discipline which is actually hand in hand with being systematic (it simple means that procrastination is the natural enemy of being systematic).

Even so, I believe that academic is not the sole reason of living although I was pretty absorbed in it last year which resulted in something really abominable. Looking at the previous year's me just make me despise that idiot and wonder "TCZ, how stupid can you be?" yet I will hold on to this regret forever as it harshly taught me on not taking things for granted but it might be unnecessary since I might not be stepping into that world again unless..... I doubt it's possible but I will be the happiest person on Earth if that possibility actually comes true.

Putting that topic aside, currently a few classmates and I are working on our class flag and amusingly, we are drawing a Caterpie because the theme is green. We started working on it since yesterday and it is coming really well, I have to remind myself to take a pic when it's completed. It's actually a class flag for our upcoming school sports fest which is happening this Thursday. It will be devastating though if it rains and based on the weather forecast, I believe that it will happen. So, I'm not gonna place a high hope in waving our flag and if it happens, it will be the 2nd big event being cancelled in a period of 3 weeks for my school. It really annoys me on how Japanese are so sensitive to weather at times. They would be living a much happier life if they were more flexible with their system.

Despite the history which is about to repeat itself, I'm going to make up for the disappointments by attending a concert happening in Shibuya on the 28th of this month despite it clashing with my exam since I barely succeeded in getting the ticket for free. So, I'll be meeting Siti Nurhaliza, Exile, Olivia Ong and all the top artistes from ASEAN and hopefully, a pic with every single 1 of them if it's possible, even if I get fucked up in the following day's exam, lol.
Getting my 2nd choice is actually a blessing in disguise. Somehow, I'm thankful that I slept in class during Intec and because of it, I didn't hear my teacher saying that the 3rd sem will be the deciding sem for our college choices. Not knowing that, fooled around during that sem and ended up getting my 2nd choice, hahaha, sohai.

And the upcoming juniors were like so pessimistic on the living cost here as if it will make a big difference living at other regions. Obviously there are bound to be cheap areas even in Tokyo, all you need to do is search for it and have financial control. If you are the thrifty, no matter where you go, you'll save money but if you are a big spender, even if you go to the most secluded place in the Japan, you'll still be able to do plenty of online shopping with just a few clicks.
Compared to the fun, all sorts of opportunities and people you get to know here, it's a really small price to pay.
A few examples would be the concert above, YONEX Japan Open, Sports fest by organizations, Malaysian Night, Halloween parties in Shibuya and Shimokitazawa, Samba Fest and so many other interesting events which Kanto centers it all.
Not to mention that I've got to know countless seniors here and is getting along with them pretty well although I wish to spend more time with my batch members actually, just that everyone is too separated and seem to have their own things to do, including myself at times.

Writing this post in fact helped me in making a few decisions. Damn, I'm so smart.
