for Hari Anugerah which happened last Friday, we had some rehearsals beforehand which made school periods very boring. On that day, we came at 7am sharp cuz we have to be at the front gate by 7.40 for the VIP's arrival. So, we did and prepare everything. By then, it was already 7.35 like that and we went there. 4 of us which were the buglers stood at the front gate and we chit chat and play play a bit, decided to play 2nd bugle. We stood there till 8.30+......., and we were thinking "so late 1..." and my extra mind "how VIP is him la, so long man" and we suddenly heard the news that he was here since 7.30 and we were shocked. He came in from the back door... back door, dude. VIP use back door.... such "grand" entrance. After that, Mr.Ng brought him to the front for the proper ceremony and the songs were played. Roll!! After all the ching chiang and bom bom pow, he entered the hall... again... and the event started officially. The form 4 rushed to the den to change cuz they need to perform as they were the choral speaking district champs. Oh ya, before that, there was a singing performance by Daniel, the song "when you say nothing at all", an oldies.
Got another performance also, the Wong Fei Hung song by Timothy Ong and his bro using the chinese instruments, 1 is "er hu" (2 strings) and the other 1, i dunno the name. After these 2 performances, the choral speaking district champs did their stuffs. The sound effects they create damn cekap man, those who watch it, definitely would agree with it. After that, it was speeches followed by choir and prize givings. After all that, we watch the drama team, also district champ and i was seriously amazed by their performance man. It was so funny yet dramatic. Especially the female character, ss d, then laugh with his evil voice and also the guy keep spamming "Yeah!", lol man, watch them. Also got 1 part, the white cloth as screen 1, "push push" while the 1 acting as the 1 delivering shouted like real only. This part reminds me of Ice Age 3, (spoiler part!) the female mammoth was delivering on the cliff and they were attacked by some dinosaurs while the Siberian Tiger was protecing her. Instead of the tiger saying "push, push", the female mammoth was the 1 saying it, lol. In the whole event, I became a photographer and also took prize and was able to snapped photos of my seniors at the end of the event. We saw Dr.Khor too and we were shocked that he was engaged with a lady by the name of... Khai Yee or Yee Khai? not sure, ask him for 1st hand information.
Then, we had some stuffs on in school and went home. During that time, we got a news that Convent got runners-up for states and it was like "wow.... runners-up". Then, Darmesh got jealous that Deeviya was best speaker and started doing some stuffs, lol. 1st year achievement already states, darmesh..? hahahahaha.
TOday, we had a performance for St.Peter's Feast, it's in Kuala Sepetang. Went there at 4pm sharp. Luckily din rain when go to school. This time, I'm the bugler, playing for band instead of marching. Fuhh, this time we played 1st to 4th set twice man.... last part there punctured a bit but I can say I did well, wahahahhaha except for starting there a bit, cuz still warming up and the ending part a bit, army... that 1, quite hard to reach the high tune d. Imagine i no need to train the cymbal players and train on my bugle only, and also my stamina, that time confirm solid performance d but sadly no time la, lol.
After everything was done, we had orange juice and porridge. I didnt take the porridge though cuz everyone was surrounding the table,ended up finished anyway, haha. I went to buy an ice-cream instead, the cone type 1. After eating, suddenly we gathered and play 1st bugle extended version followed by another few songs which got a lot of attention from the ppl there and the part Wong Fei Hung, the last bagpiper standing was Sarviineash until using his last skill, pressing the bag for the air to come out, hahaha, should've seen his face, it was seriously damn funny. Then, we went to CRC to have our dinner, only 4 of us. After eating, I went home cycling and it's sad to know that tomorrow.. school... pictures in the next post!
